VUBA is proud to announce our first-ever awards ceremony to recognize and honor the legacy of Black excellence and achievement, and the best of intercultural collaboration, cooperation and humanity, within the Villanova University community.

In addition to honoring and celebrating our awardees and our stories, we will be looking to deliver an unforgettable evening of fashion, food, drink, music, talent and dancing all before the night is over. Be prepared to be thoroughly uplifted and entertained!

The primary inspiration for the awards ceremony is the honoring of William and Juliana Moulden for their history of survival, persistence, perseverance, achievement, inclusivity and generosity to Villanova University. Secondarily, we want to honor the legacy of collaboration, cooperation and humanity of the Augustinians who helped provide physical and spiritual refuge, honored agreements and helped to protect this vulnerable Black family. It is through these exemplary examples that we honor and recognize those of us within the Villanova University community who carry these legacies forward.

Pricing:

• $30 for Villanova alumni, friends, faculty and staff (space is limited).
• Complimentary for up to 100 current Villanova students.

Attire: Dress to impress

Parking: M-2 parking garage (view map).

Bar: ID required for alcoholic beverages.

Health and Safety Guidelines: Masks are not required, but recommended for visitors inside campus buildings.
