The Service and Justice Experience program, popularly known as SJEs, is a program that invites us to engage in different social justice issues through service immersion experiences during University breaks. Through the SJE Program, participants serve with many different community partners, each addressing a different social concern or population.

Decisions for this SJE will be made based off of the content and quality of the application. Applicants will be notified of final decisions by email by Friday, November 7.

SJE Participant Registration: Winter 2026

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Service and Justice Experience Program at Villanova! Our Winter SJE will run from January 3-10, 2026. Please note that acceptance to the program means you must return to campus early from Winter break, being ready to leave on January 3.

We will be partnering with Plenitud PR in Las Marias, Puerto Rico. Participants will spend the week learning about sustainable living practices, volunteering at the farm, and connecting with the local community in Las Marias.

Applications for the Winter 2026 SJE are due on Tuesday, November 4.
