Please join us in the Connelly Center Cinema for a screening of Mending the Line starring Brian Cox (Logn Roy of Succession), Sinqua Walls (White Men Can’t Jump, Nanny, The Blackening), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle), Wes Studi (The Last of the Mohicans, Hostiles) and Perry Mattfeld (In the Dark). Following the film, we will hold a fireside chat with the film's Producer, Kelly McKendry ’94 CLAS, Writer, Stephen Camelio ’96 CLAS and Christa Miriashtiani of Project Healing Waters.

Directed by Josh Caldwell, the film follows John Colter (Walls), a wounded veteran, on his return to the U.S. while still carrying the demons of war and haunted by the everyday expectations of his friendships and love interests. He is sent to a V.A. facility in Montana for treatment, where he meets Ike Fletcher (Cox) a surly Vietnam vet who teaches him how to fly fish as a way of dealing with his emotional and physical trauma.
