About Industry Career Circles

We are proud to launch Industry Career Circles! This free program is an informational and networking opportunity for all Villanova alumni, graduate and College of Professional Studies students. Each circle will be created with a specific industry of focus, and all participants will choose which Circle to join upon registration.

Industry Career Circles are small groups (approximately ten members, including two facilitators). This one-year commitment will include quarterly meetings, three virtually and one in-person, during Homecoming weekend (if permitted). All meetings will have a facilitator to create a structured dialogue amongst the group for each meeting. Participants will be able to share their insights of the industry, as well as the opportunity to ask other Circle members for their thoughts, knowledge, and experiences.

Circles will initially launch with the industry focus areas of:

• Technology
• Financial Services
• Consulting
• Advertising
• Non-Profit
• Pharmaceuticals/BioTech

As the program evolves, additional industries may be added based on identified interest from Villanovans. If your industry of interest is not identified at this time, please continue to register and indicate your industry of interest so we may identify creations of future Industry Career Circles.

Outcomes for Industry Career Circle participants include gaining impactful insight into industry trends and best practices, expanding their professional networks through the Villanova community within targeted industry and enhancing engagement with the University.

Are you looking for a leadership opportunity with Villanova? Consider being an Industry Career Circle facilitator. Please indicate your interest to volunteer as a leader of one of the Circles on the registration page. Circle co-facilitators will manage their groups with logistical support from Villanova staff.

Once registration is closed on July 24, 2020, participants will then be notified of their final, assigned Industry Career Circle with further information regarding facilitator names, as well as planned meeting dates and times. Each Industry Career Circle meeting dates and times will be determined by the co-facilitators of the Circle. The registration page provides the opportunity to indicate interest of consideration to be a co-facilitator for your chosen group.
