Villanovans across the country will be volunteering for the 2018 St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service. Join the Club of Dallas as we celebrate our commitment of service to others.

We will partner with Hearts & Hammers and the University of Notre Dame Alumni Club of Dallas to refurbish a home in the Dallas Metroplex. There are two days available for sign-up! Day 1 on October 20 will include demolition, carpentry and landscaping preparation. Day 2 on October 27 will include the second stage of carpentry, house painting and new landscaping. You’re welcome to sign up for one or both days!

Our volunteer efforts will include yard work, scraping pain, painting, demo and siding. Materials will be donated by Hearts & Hammers and there is no experience necessary. While most materials will be donated, ladders, paint pails, and any other landscaping/DIY tools you’re comfortable using are always appreciated. Please wear close toed shoes and bring gloves. Lunch will be provided by the Notre Dame Alumni Club, but please bring your own beverages and if you have any dietary restrictions, plan accordingly. The minimum age to volunteer is 16 and liability waivers must be completed onsite (youth waiver with guardian signature required for under 18). Street parking is available.
