Villanovans across the country are volunteering in honor of St. Thomas of Villanova. Join the Club of Seattle as we partner with Puget SoundKeeper and the Duwamish Alive! Coalition, whose mission is to protect and preserve the waters of Puget Sound through monitoring and enforcement, policy and civic engagement, and stewardship and education. We will work with these organizations to clean up marine debris blocking key animal habitats; there will be kayaking and onshore opportunities available.
9:15 – 9:45 a.m. - Coffee & Snacks
9:45 - 10 a.m. - Introduction
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Clean-Up Puget Sound
Kayak Rotation 1 – 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Kayak Rotation 2 – 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
2 – 2:30 p.m. - Wrap Up
After the clean-up we will head to a local spot for happy hour.
