Today, nearly every communications professional—at any level and across all industries—must be prepared to communicate about crises impacting the organizations and individuals they represent. For its debut professional development event, the leadership of the Villanova Communication Alumni Network (VCAN) will present a keynote and panel discussion on this critically important topic. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Bill Cowen, crisis communications expert; Assistant Professor, Communication, Villanova University and founder of VCAN.
Keynote Speaker:
Rosa M. Gatti ’72 CLAS. A trailblazer for women in the sports industry, Rosa had a remarkable 33-year career at ESPN, going on to become the network’s Senior Vice President of Communications Counsel and Corporate Outreach before retiring in 2013.
