ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIPS:
EMBA: Nasrin Gharajedaghi EMBA Scholarship
The scholarship honors Dr. Jamshid Gharajedaghi who is a pioneer in the field of Systems Thinking which is a defining element of the Executive MBA program at the Villanova School of Business. This approach to problem solving has been identified by students to be a transformational force in their thinking. Integrated into the curriculum, Dr. Gharajedaghi uses his study in behavioral sciences, operational research and most notable, Interactive Design to provoke thoughtful and critical decision making. When Dr. Gharajedaghi lost his wife, Nasrin, in 2012, the alumni created this scholarship in her name. Annually awarded, the scholarship will be granted to an individual from an underrepresented group with financial need, who demonstrates a commitment to use the EMBA experience not just to advance his/her career, but to give back to society in a meaningful way.

The MBA Alumni Association proudly supports the evolving and innovative curriculum of the MBA program. The MBA program has three tracks – Fast, Flex, and Online with 10 specializations for MBA students to tailor their career aspirations with their education. The programs include international immersion trips for students, online technology, and enhanced professional development for current students in the program.
